About Carthasuq

Carthasuq consists of two words: Carthage and Suq (market). A name that connects our origin and our promise—the cultural heritage of North Africa and the vibrant place where craftsmanship finds its way to people.

Our story doesn’t begin in a showroom but in workshops—from the coastal light of Nabeul to the hills of Sejnane. We sit by the kiln, listen, learn, and select pieces built to last: stoneware for the table, earthy Sejnane pottery, hand-knotted rugs, and mosaics with a Mediterranean soul.

We work without middlemen. We buy directly from the makers: family studios, cooperatives, individual artisans. That means fair pay, transparency, and short routes—and for you, genuine quality you can see and feel.

Every piece is handmade. Small variations aren’t flaws; they’re the signature of the people who created them. Our aim is simple: things that make everyday life more beautiful and are made to stay.

Carthasuq is more than a shop—it’s a bridge between origin and home. From the workshops of Tunisia, straight to you.
